奥运会奖牌正面印有象征胜利的月桂树叶，背面是胜利女神像。残奥会奖牌正面印有代表种子的卵石，背面是残奥会标志。此外，残奥会奖牌还可以通过钢珠发出不同的声音，金牌声音最大，银牌适中，铜牌最弱。
